Recognizing a First Responder Nominee in Itasca

On December 17th, SERVPRO had the great honor of recognizing another First Responder nominee at Itasca's Village Board Meeting. Officer Keith Endres has been in service for a little over three years, and already he has demonstrated a strong willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty. This shows in his volunteer work for the community, especially with senior citizens. For example, when a resident had issues keeping up with yard work and maintaining his place of residence, Officer Endres recruited volunteers along with himself to help out, even paying for products and tools to repair the resident's roof. Officer Endres truly models exemplary service, and it was a privilege to be able to recognize him in front of the Itasca community.

First Responder Nominees Honored and Recognized at Rolling Meadows City Council

On November 12th, we had the honor of attending the Rolling Meadows City Council Meeting to present Detective Mike Katsenios and Firefighter John Loesch commemorative plaques to highlight their above and beyond contributions as First Responders.

We want to recognize all First Responders for their bravery and courage, protecting and preserving peace in our communities. Their courage and compassion are inspiring to all. We are grateful to live in a country where individuals dedicate themselves to protecting and serving their fellow citizens. We are humbled by their bravery and thank them for putting their lives on the line for those around them. We thank them for their service and sacrifice.

SERVPRO Supports the Fight Against ALS

ALS, or Lou Gehrig's Disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. Our Business Development Manager, Tom Von Schaumburg, has spent numerous years and countless hours as an advocate for the fight against ALS. One of the ways he does so is through Fight Like a Champion, a non-profit organization committed to finding a cure for ALS and providing inspiration for others affected by this disease around the world.

For more information about how to get involved and lend your support, check out Fight Like a Champion's official website and Facebook page.
